DISTRICT FORMAT FOR BOY’S SOCCER

FALL 2008

 

The 2008 District II Boy’s Soccer Tournament will include the following:

 

AAA   

 

4-Team Tournament (WVC-1, LC-2, D4-1)

            D4 Team (Williamsport) must have a .500 winning percentage or better to be included in the tournament.

            Wild Card team with the highest winning percentage after conference seeds have been selected (Team will be chosen from either the WVC or LC).

 

AA

 

8-Team Tournament (WVC-5, LC-3)

WVC #3 vs. LC #2

WVC #2 vs. LC #3

WVC #4 vs. LC #1

 

A

 

8-Team Tournament (WVC-2, LC-6)

Seeding Meeting- Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at WVWHS, 7 p.m.

*Quarterfinals- Thursday, October 23, 2008 and Friday, October 24, 2008

*Semifinals- Monday, October 27, 2008 and Tuesday, October 28, 2008

*Finals- Wednesday, October 29, 2008 and Thursday, October 30, 2008

 

District Deadline- Saturday, November 1, 2008

*PIAA State Tournament First Round- Tuesday, November 4, 2008
